Job training at the Cafe
Located on the campus of THEARC since 2019, DC Central Kitchen Cafe is more than a welcoming café serving delicious, locally-sourced options to our customers in Ward 8. The Cafe also provides hands-on culinary training and career readiness training to young adults ages 18-24 who disconnected from school and work. Our program offers nationally recognized credentials, on-the-job training, internships, case management, and ongoing career development services.
Thanks to the generous support of individual, foundation, corporate, and government partners, DC Central Kitchen pledges to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students.
