Celebrate 15 legendary years of Carmine’s in Washington, DC with food and tradition… served family-style, of course!
Slip behind the curtain and into Carmine’s speakeasy-style soirée on June 25th, where vintage glamour meets bold flavors with a family-style dinner featuring some of the restaurant’s signature dishes and a cocktail hour to kick off the evening. The event will honor their roots, raise a glass to the future, and support DC Central Kitchen! Net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit our mission to fight hunger and poverty. Tickets are $125 and are currently available online!
If you’re not able to attend the soirée, you’ll still be able to support the Kitchen during your next visit to Carmine’s this month! Chef Glenn Rolnick and FOX5 DC’s Erin Como collaborated on a fun and playful (and fully vegetarian) twist on their lasagna, with 20% of the purchase price of the Spinach Lasagna Pinwheels going towards DC Central Kitchen.
The Spinach Lasagna Pinwheels feature tender spinach lasagna sheets from Rafetto’s NYC rolled with a rich mixture of fresh spinach, sundried peppers, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. The addition of roasted eggplant and aromatic basil enhances the flavor profile and brings some beautiful texture. The pinwheels are cooked with a rustic plum tomato sauce and a touch of Carmine’s longtime favorite marinara sauce. Each bite offers a harmonious blend of textures and flavors!
