Sarah Ravitz’s career in Washington, DC began at Alta Strada, where the California native quickly rose from cook to Chef de Cuisine over the course of a couple years. Her work at Conosci, a tasting menu restaurant, introduced her to the new menu format which led her to her subsequent role at minibar. At minibar, Sarah maintained two Michelin stars during her tenure as Executive Sous Chef and Head Chef. In 2024, Sarah began a new role leading the kitchen at Shilling Canning Company, the mid-Atlantic restaurant in Navy Yard.
