DC’s baddest night of doing good returns to The Anthem on Thursday, November 9th. The 19th installment of Capital Food Fight, presented by Instacart, will feature an all-star cast of celebrity judges, dozens of tasting tables from your favorite restaurants, and a raucous showdown between four local culinary stars.
This year, Executive Chef & Co-Owner of All Set Ed Reavis, Chef Rachel Bindel of Gravitas, Executive Chef of dLeña Carlos Camacho, and Estuary’s Chef de Cuisine Ria Montes will battle for the grand prize on the main stage in a multi-round culinary battle, featuring secret ingredients.
Each dish will be judged by a panel of culinary icons, including Top Chef’s lead judge, restaurateur, and James Beard award-winning chef Tom Colicchio, restaurateur, Iron Chef America champion, and star of truTV’s Fast Foodies Justin Sutherland, TV personality and accomplished chef with notable stints with Noma, Hillstone Restaurant Group, and Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s Hav & Mar in New York City Fariyal Abdullahi, renowned chef and highly acclaimed cookbook author Rocco DiSpirito, and Washington Nationals legend Ryan Zimmerman.
With celebrity chefs José Andrés, Spike Mendelsohn, and media personality Tommy McFly hosting and emceeing, respectively, November 9th will surely be a night to remember.
