DC Central Kitchen (DCCK) is thrilled to be among this year’s line-up of NBA Foundation grant recipients, which were announced earlier this week. Forty organizations from across the U.S. are part of the $20 million investment to create employment opportunities, further career advancement, and drive greater economic empowerment for Black youth.
This powerful investment, which will dramatically expand access to culinary training, mental health support, and food sector careers for young adults here in DC, builds upon our successful work with the NBA Foundation over the past year, as well as our long-term partnership with the Washington Wizards and Monumental Sports and Entertainment.
