It may look different this year, but our signature fundraising event, Capital Food Fight, will proceed on November 18, 2020. Tickets to DC’s most anticipated foodie fundraiser are now on sale and include food and beverage packages that allow sponsors and guests to enjoy this celebrated event from the comforts of home.
This year’s virtual format maintains the star-studded, live celebrity appearances fans know and love, and includes the customary culinary battle between four local DC chefs. Guests have the option to purchase a digital link to the show, with dinner and cocktail packages for pick-up or delivery.
This year’s celebrity participants include humanitarian and chef José Andrés, restaurateur Spike Mendelsohn, Top Chef contestant Eric Adjepong, Washington Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman, DC chef powerhouse, Ris Lacoste, and more nationally recognized chefs who will join the live feed remotely on November 18. Local personalities and broadcasters Kelly Collis and Tommy McFly co-emcee the event, keeping viewers engaged and energized throughout the night.
The culinary battle will feature local chefs Angel Barreto (Anju), Paolo Dungca (Peter Chang Restaurant Group), Peter Prime (Cane), and Shannan Troncoso (Brookland’s Finest Bar and Kitchen) who will prepare dishes featuring surprise secret ingredients and compete for the votes of celebrity judges.
