Tickets are now on sale for DC Central Kitchen’s fundraising event, the Capital Food Fight™. Join host José Andrés (Chef/Owner, ThinkFoodGroup) and co-host Spike Mendelsohn (“Top Chef” contestant and Restaurateur) at the Ronald Reagan Building on November 10, 2016 for a night of food, fun, and philanthropy!
Presented by Tyson Foods with support from sponsors CoBank, MGM National Harbor, the Ronald Reagan Building, and many others, the Capital Food Fight brings together over 1,200 guests to taste food and drink from more than 75 of DC’s best restaurants and mixologists while enjoying live onstage entertainment. Founded and hosted by José Andrés, and voted “Best Charity Event” in DC by The Washington City Paper Readers’ Poll, Capital Food Fight is DC’s must attend event of the year.
The live culinary battle will feature local chefs Samuel Kim (1789), Andrew Markert (Beuchert’s Saloon), George Rodrigues (Tico), and Theary So (Hank’s Oyster Bar) who will prepare dishes with a secret ingredient and compete head-to-head in a live on-stage battle. Judges for this year’s battle are to be announced. Previous judges have included Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi, Anne Burrell, Richard Sandoval, and more.
